Konstantinos Athanasiadis studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Thessaly in Greece. After his studies he worked as a R & D Engineer at a German industrial producer of plastic films. Since 2015 he has been working as a managing director at the family owned company S. & K. ATHANASIADIS P.C.. The company represents leading manufacturers of specialized industrial machinery, which are used for sorting, shredding, washing and recycling of plastics. S & K ATHANASIADIS P.C. is the exclusive distributor in Greece of the German machine manufacturer WEIMA GmbH. WEIMA is a manufacturer of metal & wood presses, dewatering presses, as well as a renowned manufacturer of shredders for the shredding of solid waste, for recycling applications or the production of alternative fuels (SRF/RDF).
