Mrs. Elitsa Petkova is a project coordinator in Cleantech Bulgaria with more than 10 years of experience in project management in the industry and different EU projects in the field of circular economy, digitalization, capacity building and innovation deployment in companies.
In the manufacturing sector, Mrs. Petkova managed environmental coordination optimization of processes, collection, monitoring and analysis on environmental data, development of strategies and policies for reduction of environmental impacts and continuous improvements under ISO 14001. Currently, Mrs. Petkova manages diverse educational and innovation projects as well as projects for policy support on national level both in the field of circular economy, resource efficiency and uptake of new technologies for the twin transition under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe.
Mrs. Petkova is a National Contact Point for Horizon Europe in Cluster 5 Climate, Energy and Mobility and coordinates the activities of the EIT Manufacturing Hub Bulgaria.
She holds a master degree in Environmental Management & Sustainability Science from Aalborg University, Denmark.
